2019 is set to be a interesting year for Keto, with the release of her debut album ‘Blackened Pool’ in October 2018. Keto has spent the last couple of years playing shows in the UK and Europe in the lead up to the release of her album. 2018 saw Keto support LOW at Trinity Church, Bristol in October 2018, go on a full UK and Ireland tour supporting Simone Felice (Three Billboards.,) perform at the renowned Southbank centre for a special performance of her works and perform again at the Green man festival. 2017 saw Keto perform at the Green Man Festival, Glastonbury festival, Iceland Airwaves Music Festival in Reykjavik, play shows in Paris, and going on a full UK tour with Julia Jacklin. 

Keto caught the attention of PRS, making her one of the recipients of the ‘Women Make Music’ fund. With this Keto travelled to record in the eerily serene Outer Hebrides. Here lies Keto’s next anticipated and most complete work to date, released October 2018.

Blackened Pool‘ is the first track to be shared from the recording session and stays true to Keto’s effortless sound, gaining support from BBC 6 music's Tom Ravenscroft, Clash magazine and "BBC introducing" amongst others. Her rich and individual voice surrounded by a swell of effortless musicality.

Keto’s debut EP ‘What We Do‘ released in 2016 found fans in BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, Drowned in Sound, Amazing Radio, and Gigwise to name a few. Earlier in 2017 Bear’s Den included Keto's track, Waiting on dreams, on a vinyl compilation featuring their favourite new acts for a special Record Store Day release. Keto also released ‘Superstar’ in Febuary 2017, gaining support from all channels and setting the tone for the rest of the year, it was described by For The Rabbits as “musically sublime..combining dextrous guitar picking, with swathes of lush strings.”

Keto has played shows alongside Julia Jacklin, Aldous Harding, Lower DensTeleman,Cattle and Cane, Black Honey, Tom Brosseau and Bob Mould.
